Alburgh
Alburgh is located on the Alburgh Tongue, a peninsula extending south from the Canadian Border into Lake Champlain. The town of Alburgh is located within 5-10 minutes of the Canadian Border. The town is home to the Alburgh Dunes, a 625 acre-property which became a State Park in 1996. The town also has a golf course, the Alburgh Golf Links.
There is a bridge that connects Alburgh to the neighboring town of Swanton to the east, across Lake Champlain. The town of Alburgh is located 30 minutes from Saint Albans, over an hour from Burlington and within minutes to the Canadian Border. The Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge is about 15-20 minutes from Alburgh.
Alburgh is part of Grand Isle Supervisory Union, with their own elementary school, Alburgh Community Education Center.
