Richmond Vermont

Richmond is a rural town located in the eastern part of Chittenden County. Neighboring Bolton, Jericho and Huntington, Richmond is very close to many of the best outdoor recreational activities in Chittenden County. Home to the famous Round Church, Richmond maintains a lot of historic charm through the town center. Residents of the town can enjoy community activities such as farmer's markets, summer concert series and youth sports. Richmond is home to over 4,000 people and has 2 smaller communities within the town: Fays Corners and Jonesville. Interstate I89 runs through the town, making it a quick commuting town for residents working in the Greater Burlington area or the Montpelier area.

Richmond is known for their popular, independently owned markets and restaurants, as well as Stone Corral Brewery, located on Huntington Road.

Richmond is apart of Mount Mansfield Modified Union School District, a school district that is shared between Bolton, Jericho, Richmond and Underhill. Students in Richmond attend Richmond Elementary and Camels Hump Middle School both located in Richmond. For high school, students attend and Mount Mansfield Union High School, located in the neighboring town of Jericho, attending high school with students from Jericho, Underhill, Richmond, Bolton and Huntington.
