Saint Albans is the hub of Franklin County, located less than 30 minutes south of the Canadian Boarder and 35 minutes north of Burlington. St. Albans is comprised of the Town and City. The Town of Saint Albans is home to about 6,000 residents, and the City of Saint Albans is home to about 7,000 residents.

St. Albans features an abundance of parks and outdoor recreational areas such as Kamp Kill Kare State Park, the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail, the Hard'Ack recreation area, St. Albans Bay Park, St. Albans Town Forest and Aldi's Hill Park. The city is famous for the Maple Fest it hosts every April, a three day event that features a parade, live entertainment, food demonstrations, an Antique Show, Craft and Specialty Show and much more!

Residents of Saint Albans can enjoy a selection of dining and entertainment on Main Street in the city, with various restaurants, bars and a movie theater (the Welden Theatre). The Northwestern Medical Center is the hospital serving the City, Town and general Franklin County area.
