Franklin Homes

Franklin is a rural town located in the Northern region of Franklin County. Bordering the Canadian - United States Border, Franklin is home to around 1,400 residents. The town is home to Lake Carmi State Park, a popular summer spot for locals and visitors. Lake Carmi hosts the largest campground in the State of Vermont, with 138 tent/RV sites, 35 lean-to sites and 2 cabins. The park and lake is also a great destination for swimming, hiking, fishing and boating.

Franklin is located about 20 minutes from Swanton, 30 minutes from Saint Albans city, 10 minutes from Canada and about an hour from Burlington. Residents of Franklin can enjoy easy access to the larger towns of Swanton and Saint Albans for amenities, while living in a scenic, country setting.

Franklin has their own school for K-8, Franklin Central School. Upon High School, students attend Missisquoi Valley Union High School.
