Part of the Burlington Metro Area, the quaint city of Winooski is the most densely populated city in Northern Vermont. Winooski is only 1.5 square miles, but the small city features an abundance of small parks, restaurants and bars. Winooski is known for it's popular restaurant Waterworks, which overlooks the Winooski River in the Champlain Mill. Across the River Bridge, on the City Border of Burlington, is a vegan café called Pingala Café, which offers casual dine in option and take out.
