Burlington

Burlington is the largest and most populated city in Vermont. The City of Burlington is the hub of the northwestern part of the state, and referred to as the Queen City. Burlington is known for it's vibrant and famous Church Street, which has been rated as one of the top places for outdoor events. Church Street is a unique, iconic brick roadway with shops, restaurants and bars/night clubs. Church Street hosts a variety of events throughout the year including the Jazz Festival and the Festival of Fools.

Burlington is known for their vibrant Fourth of July fireworks show every summer. The Burlington Bike path leads from the South End of Burlington, to the North End, running parallel to the Lake. Burlington hosts multiple beaches and parks including Oakledge Park, Redrocks, North Beach and Leddy Park and Beach which also features a skating arena.

In addition to housing multiple colleges including the University of Vermont and Champlain College, Burlington is a strong supporter of arts and entertainment, urban development, and local food producers. A highlight of this vibrant community is the Great Streets Initiative, an ongoing project to ensure the city's downtown district is a sustainable, accessible, and generally pleasant place to be.

Additional highlights of Burlington include the Burlington Country Club in the South End of the City and Various Breweries. Burlington, VT has all of the amenities of a small urban city with shops and restaurants on every corner, while still maintaining a strong community and small town feel.
